Process Nasa People

From AltMap Beta

The Nasa People are an Indigenous nation primarily located in the Cauca region of Colombia, known for their strong systems of self-government, territorial control, and community justice. Organized through cabildos, assemblies, and the Indigenous Guard, the Nasa exercise collective decision-making rooted in ancestral law and communal responsibility. Their long-standing struggle for land recovery, autonomy, and peace has made them a key reference for Indigenous self-determination and radical democracy in Latin America.
